Baltimore Inner Harbor General Grantmaking Procedures

The Foundation’s grant making policies reflect the mission of the Foundation as well as the wishes of the founders, Vernon and Lucy Wright, in conjunction with the legal requirements of a private foundation and the inherent limitation to fund the many requests it receives each year.

  • Applicants must submit evidence of tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
  • Applicant must be providing support and services to at-risk youth in Baltimore City, Maryland or the City of Austin, Texas in one of the designated program areas.
